Jim Kohn learned long ago to accept the fact that people are not laughing with him, they're laughing at him. Even so, he has persevered in both comedy and drama, gracing the stage and screen in projects large and small? OK, well, mostly small.

Jim's most recent comedy, "The Marriage Proposal" - a film version of the Chekhov one-act play by the same name - which he both co-produced and starred in, premiered at the Columbia University Film Festival in the spring of 2004.

During the summer of 2003, Jim won acclaim for his portrayal of Felix Ungar in Neil Simon's classic comedy "The Odd Couple" in Nantucket, where he joined fellow "Freeze Out" cast member Eddie Pepitone, who played Oscar Madison.

Jim has appeared on The Daily Show, Upright Citizens Brigade, USA's Up All Night, Showtime's Vespertine, and The Toyota Comedy Festival, as well as the hilarious daytime serials, All My Children, Guiding Light, and As The World Turns.

Before moving to Los Angeles in 2003, Jim spent many years on the New York City stage, doing plays both contemporary and classical. His favorite roles include Gus in The Dumb Waiter, Pierrot in A Merry Death, Pardner in The Frontier, Santarem in La Perichole, Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Malvolio in Twelfth Night, Hector in Troilus and Cressida, and Pompey in Measure for Measure.

You can see Jim in the upcoming feature film "The Masterpiece."
